As part of a design challenge set by Nissan, we were tasked with designing accessories for the new Nissan March. Our team created Meeting: a stereo system embedded into the car’s parcel tray, transforming an overlooked feature into a social centerpiece for picnics and outdoor gatherings.

Guided by insights from user research and real-world behaviors, Meeting includes a built-in induction-based sound system that amplifies any phone’s audio without Bluetooth. The tray also features cupholders and a snack-ready surface, with a waterproof blanket stored beneath for spontaneous use in parks, beaches, or any outdoor setting.
Our research showed that parcel trays in compact city cars are often discarded due to limited utility. Meeting reimagines this unused space as a modular, multi-sensory social feature that adds value to both the car and the user experience.
